The Cubefish Series - Heavyweight Hoodie

There’s a cube-shaped planet in the far reaches of the universe called Cubic that’s populated by gigantic amorphous beings known as Cubicles. The problem with Cubicles is that they are perpetually expanding beings, growing larger and larger from the day they’re born. Luckily, Cubic has very heavy gravity– thus keeping them contained within the planet’s atmosphere.

The Cubicles, however, still expand sideways… constantly bumping into each other and competing for space. It’s a planet of perpetual chaos– but some of them enjoy it. Some inflate themselves to the top, becoming focal points within this extraterrestrial cluster-fuck.

 I’ve been drawing these little doodle dudes for years. They’re all freehand– no erasing, no sketching, no planning… just one line that’s following the vibe. I like to think they’re a stream of consciousness at the time of the doodle… or maybe an illustration of the thousands of thoughts that are competing for space inside my ADD designer mind.

Or maybe they’re just funky little dudes that are cool to look at.
